Sacroiliac joints are larger joints located at the junction of the spine and the pelvis.

Some people experience very low back pain and/or hip pain when they have pathology here. Sacroiliac joints may be painful due to degeneration, trauma, pregnancy, or other causes.

The sacroiliac joint can be injected with steroids to decrease pain and inflammation in and around the area. If the pain returns after two consecutive blocks, then the joint can be stabilized with a linQ device.
